Putting aside the fact that you'll have up to 4 team members working on your project...
...or that we sneakily schedule the strategy session before the 'One Week' and then the support/launch after the 'One Week', all while brazenly and shamelessy calling the process the 'One Week Website'...
...it's mostly our process and tools. We try not to go on and on about our component-based design process, but since you asked...
The One Week Website process uses components as the basis to create your unique website. These are common elements, used everywhere throughout the web, that are proven to work for specific purposes.
For example, after analysing questionnaire responses at the start of the process, we may decide your type of business is one that would likely have personal testimonials from happy clients and is the type of business that will attract new clients by showing these testimonials on the homepage. The testimonials block on the homepage is a component.
We have many components pre-built in code, waiting to be styled. The wireframe that you'll receive after the strategy session will display variations of the components in a layout that our team is certain will work best. We then add a design on top.
