Based in Seattle, Build Urban are property developers and contractors who design and build beautiful urban living spaces that are also environmentally sustainable. Waqa Studios was asked to develop corporate branding in-keeping with their modern designs and a website that would be long lasting, easy to manage and work on any device.
Branding.
The brand needed to transmit the personality of the company. Edgy and urban, but with a focus on sustainability and green living.
It’s their work though that really represents what they stand for and what they do and it was important to incorporate high quality images of completed projects throughout all company marketing materials, including the website.
Responsive.
With a large proportion of potential customers finding out about Build Urban while on the move it was important to build the website with mobile devices in mind. Waqa Studios delivered a content-driven mobile-first website that works on any platform and on any size screen.
Portfolio Galleries.
Build Urban’s projects pass rapidly from being in planning and development – “on the boards” – to being a finished piece in their expanding portfolio. Waqa Studios delivered a site powered by a content management system that allowed Build Urban to post images to the development stage gallery and later move them to the portfolio gallery when completed.
